About Us

Village Software Engineering is a Liverpool based software house. Established in 1986 we have a long experience of developing software for commercial and technical applications both in Windows and Unix.

Well known in the Liverpool's IT business community we have a number of formal and informal relationships. We are long-standing members of the Liverpool ICT group which MD Jonathan Read formerly chaired.

We are principally involved in the development of transaction systems with costs ranging from £5,000 to £70,000. We also produce Management Information Systems. You will soon be able to view our case studies for examples of our projects.

Village employs software developers who are enthusiatic about what they do. We keep up to date on best practice trends and use Test-Driven Development techniques in all of our projects.
