INSTALLATION

CD:

Insert the GMT Sage Payroll Link CD, and by using explorer find the SETUP icon in the PAYROLL LINK directory.

Download:

Download latest release from download page and continue.

Highlight the SETUP icon and then click on it. The GMT link software will be loaded to the \Program Files\GMT\Payroll Link directory.

After the above load has completed you will find two new icons – Maintenance and Payroll Link.

Prior to using the link you will have to set up the data paths through the Maintenance Icon.

Click onto the maintenance icon and it will bring up a maintenance screen.

1. Company name
This is a free text field for company identification when using multi company options.

2. Flatfile identifier
This can be any alpha character between A and Z depending on the data exported from Flatfile.

3. Sage Directory
The correct Sage Company has to be captured – this is again for multi company options.

4. Flatfile Files Directory
By using the browser you can capture the Flatfile files directory. The files can usually be located in the Tempaid directory.

On first use for a particular company you will be asked for a serial key. Plese phone the office to receive the key.
