Eight new ‘Villagers’ join the Village Software team

Liverpool-based software development business, Village Software, has welcomed eight new team members to support its regional and national expansion plans as it continues to build the team for the future.

Dave Champness brings a wealth of experience to his Account Manager role having worked client-side for organisations such as United Utilities. We are delighted to have him on board.

Colette Dalton took over as Financial Controller from Sue Roberts who retired in the summer. Colette has 20+ years working within the technology sector for a bespoke software house.

Developer, Cassie Wong, brings a wealth of experience and innovative thinking to the design and development of our clients’ systems.

Starting his second career at Village, Peter Reid has been working across a range of technologies delivering software solutions in Net and Angular with some Power Apps.  Before studying software engineering Peter held customer facing roles which gives him the ability to talk to clients and colleagues with an empathy and understanding for the end users of some of our clients.

Joadh Rai and Jack Chesterman join us as Graduate Developers having studies Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Liverpool. Subam Kumar also joins as Graduate Developer having completed and MSc in Advanced Computer Science at Liverpool Hope University. are graduate Developers.

And last but in no way least Joel Bishop joins our Business Intelligence team and is focused on PowerBi and SQL.

Johnny Read

Johnny is a businessman in touch with his inner geek. He seeks to bring together his understanding of business and technology to put solutions together. He particularly works in the Business Intelligence and Enterprise Systems parts of the business, and has been with Village over 20 years. As well as being a partner in the business he is a lecturer at Liverpool Business School.
